Easy, Beautiful Research

Digital Trails is a mobile app for sensing and intervention research on iOS and Android. Enrolling a participant is as easy as sharing your study code with them (study codes are created by the Digital Trails team). Once a participant enters their study code they are then invited to consent in the app. After participants consent they are returned to Digital Trails and you begin to collect data. That's it; you've just enrolled a new participant.

Digital Trails is an end-to-end mobile app for sensing, surveys, and interventions on iOS and Android. App users like Digital Trails because they can participate in and contribute to research they care about.

Digital Trails is currently in limited release. We hope to make it widely available middle of next year.

Digital Trails was built first and foremost with privacy in mind. All data is encrypted over the wire and at-rest. Personally identifiable information is stored separately from data collected in the app. Participants always have the option to end participation in any study, at any time, and request that all of their data be deleted.
